Data Storage
All data created in Yacyn TV is stored locally on your device using:
- UserDefaults: For app settings and preferences
- Local Storage: For your programs, templates, and recurring events
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
Calendar Integration
If you choose to enable Calendar Sync:
- The app requests permission to access your Apple Calendar
- Calendar data is read locally on your device only
- No calendar information is transmitted to external servers
- You can revoke calendar access at any time in iOS Settings
Notifications
If you enable Program Alerts:
- The app uses iOS UserNotifications framework
- Notifications are scheduled locally on your device
- No notification data is sent to external servers
- You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings
Third-Party Services
Yacyn TV does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline and does not make network requests.
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Your data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- Data is backed up to iCloud if you have iCloud Backup enabled (controlled by iOS, not the app)
- If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed
Children's Privacy
Yacyn TV does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over your data:
- View all your data within the app
- Delete individual programs or all data
- Uninstall the app to remove all data permanently
